Description from the main course:

This course is divided up into 7 weeks (4 days a week). You will study one artist per week and you will complete 4 projects per week. You will also read a book or two about the artist each day.

BONUS WEEK is totally optional, but I highly recommend doing it. After you have completed your study and all your artwork, you can set up an “art gallery” in your home. Invite your friends and family for a night of viewing the masterpieces you have created! My kids LOVED this! We served snacks and everyone enjoyed walking through our “gallery”.

I have done this course with my own children several times. Two of my cousins and my grandma even joined us once! We have tested these projects thoroughly and several age ranges have participated (as young as age 2 and as old as age 74).

Just a few tips-

1. Have everything you need for each lesson set up and ready to go before you invite the children to the table/workspace, especially if you have young children with very little patience. It will serve you as well as the children to be prepared.

2. Some lessons require drawing. If you have young children or a perfectionist child, don’t be afraid to draw (or trace) for them. It will save you many tears and will boost the child’s confidence. You can use a light board or a well lit window to trace.

3. Be relaxed and HAVE FUN!
